If you are the type of person that can spend hours at a gallery or museum and contemplate what was going through the artists mind when they created the art…this place is for you!
Our story
Michael Lawrence always knew he wanted to be an artist. And he took every opportunity to become a successful one. Michael, along with his business partner and best friend, Eric Hoppe, created exquisite collectibles and creations that are highly sought after today.
Living in San Francisco, California, gave Michael the opportunity to create for Gump's, and Nordstrom Inc., with showings at the Harvey Milk Gallery and others.
They were also commissioned to do a porcelain reproduction of the United States Capitol that was presented to Senator Diane Feinstein when she was elected to the senate.
Soon they received contracts from Disney Fine Arts and Warner Bros to create ceramic figurines and collectibles of some of their most beloved characters.
Over time Michael started painting and creating works of art from his imagination, life experiences, and extensive travel. His oil paintings are thought provoking and engaging. Babies flying on insects, evangelicals preaching doom and destruction, government industries, celebrities that have touched his life, and endangered species all ask the viewer to consider how the characters play into the paintings and show a glimpse into the mind of the man who created them.
